Comment Rules

Comments provide an opportunity for visitors to respond to posts and pages. One of the main reasons we moved from the static website format to this live-web structure was to enable our visitors to guide us with comments.

On one hand comments are good because they bring people together, on the other, they create an opportunity for information which does not fit the nature or intent of the forum.

Comment Rules:

  1. Comments must address the subject matter of postings.
  2. Comments derogatory to an author will be disapproved and commenter will be banned from further  posting.
  3. Dissenting comments must provide a constructive contribution.  For example “This is wrong” would disapproved, “This is wrong because measles is a virus” is permitted because the “measles is a virus” asserts technical dissent with causal hypothesis.
  4. Political comments must contribute to the subject matter of the forum.
  5. Product Endorsements that do not relate with the published Cause and Care model will be disapproved.
  6. Comments may not discuss “legal regulatory context” to discredit a product, see Charter.
  7. Personal experiences with products are allowed.  They should relate qualitative data regarding the published cause/care model.
  8. Pure testimonials that assert symptom->resolution, and do not relate to correlation are not allowed.
