Can you ship your product using a lower price to help me avoid customs and tax fees?

Hi, I am from another country and I’d like to purchase one of your products. My country charges excessive import duties and taxes which make your products more expensive here than your listed website price.

It would really help me if you would ship my product with “reduced price export documentation” to save me these costs.

Is it possible?

No. There are two reasons:

  1. Unfortunately customs agents have access to the Internet. If they choose, as you did, to lookup our price online, and see that our actual price is higher than the “shipped item” value, we get caught fraudulently representing documentation for our product prices — they may prohibit us from serving products to other people in your country.
  2. International shipping is very tedious. It takes approximately 1/2 hour to complete export documentation for any international shipment, the normal way. We simply cannot afford to add cost to produce “falsely depreciated” documentation to support international shipments.
Customs policies are created by your government.

Customs policies are created by your government.

The main principle is with your government’s imposed taxes and duties that apply to all imported goods. This is an explicit political issue relating to the way your government governs and taxes imported goods. If you object to these fees, then the politically correct and only effective action is to work with your government leaders to reduce taxes and import fees that apply to all imported products.
